Superfriends Placemats (sponsored link) —
As a child of the 70s, I can’t deny how the Superfriends make me happy. They’re bold colours and general demeanor defined my childhood. I would love to stare at the smiling faces over breakfast each day, but seeing I mainly eat a piece of toast over the sink (my nickname here is “The Raccoon”), I probably don’t need a placemat.
Ben Cooper “The Thing” Jiggler (sponsored link) —
I’m pretty excited for the Fantastic Four movie personally and well, this Thing Jiggler is something I am happy I own. I was that kid that wanted him more than the Hulk, I still am. This was a weird set by Ben Cooper that added Dr. Strange and the Red Skull in a “What was the plan here?” assortment.
Vending Machine card for Rubber Bugs (sponsored link)-–
I love that there’s no graphics or text needed,” BLAP! RUBBER BUGS! Give me twenty-five cents,” and every kid understood the mission.
Medicom Tron Figure and Light Cycles (sponsored link) —
I had no idea these existed until I saw them in a Micronauts group. The figures themselves really look like Microman, and now I’m obsessed with them. I don’t really love the movie Tron, but I sure have a thing for the action figures.
Simon and Simon Corgi Car (sponsored link)—
I grew up loving “Simon and Simon,” but wow, Corgi, this is strangely lazy. Was there a Simon and Simon City Bus too? Cause, I’m sure a bus made an appearance in the show. Damn, now that banger of Mike Post theme tune is in my head…..
