While I remember drooling over the Sears Christmas catalog in my early 60s childhood, I don’t remember doing a list. Oddly, I do remember really wanting an item from the little Spencer Gifts catalog: A set of tiny hand-painted plastic Presidents, in a box that displayed them. I can’t remember why I wanted it, as even then I must have realized it offered zero play value. Unless, maybe, you deploy individual presidents to command your little green army men.
