G.I. Joe Secret Mission to Spy Island

I don’t think Hasbro ever stopped making this set, it’s always in parts lots. It was so popular that Power Records made a book and record set about it. I had the record as a kid, it was pretty darn terrific!

I loved that book and record set, I wish I still had a copy of it today. Man, that brings back the memories.

I found this link at a group I belong to. It’s a wav file of the story.

Wow. I had this one. The radio came with a little, teeny tiny real piece of wire that went between the receiver and handset. I took this wire and stuck it right in the electrical outlet in my room. BANG! Blew a fuse and scared me smart. My mother never connected the fuse with the block scorch mark on my wall. That’s why you need those outlet covers! Man, what are little kids thinking?????
