Starsky and Hutch Police Seat- HG Toys- 5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

The original “Bromance!” Starsky and Hutch inspired many cool toys like this. I love the official logo on their holster as if two undercover cops would brand themselves.

Woolworth Action Team - 5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

Woolworth’s Action Team figures (sponsored link)

I’ve never seen these figures before, but they give me a “Palitoy Action Force” vibe (albeit a lower-quality one), and that card art looks a bit like it’s from a horror movie. It’s win/win!

Captain Zantor Ship from Space:1999- 5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

LJN RoadStars Space:1999 Captain Zantor ship (sponsored link)

I own one of these and it’s on my desk as I type this. It’s from a classic episode of Space:1999 and starred Christopher Lee as Captain Zantor. Seriously this is one of my favourites from my Space:1999 toys. We got a ton of Eagles but getting this cool Alien ship is a real highpoint for me.

Tonka Smokey the Bear Playset - 5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

Tonka Smokey Bear Playset (sponsored links)

Camping the Smokey Bear way, I assume he just micro-manages your entire family and invites himself to every meal. What are you going to do? Take it that’s what, you don’t want him to piss off a bear, especially one in pants that walks up right.

Funstuf Pet Ghost - 5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

Funstuf Pet Ghost (sponsored link)-

This toy was obviously made to capitalize on the “Pet Rock” craze (yup, I had one, it died) of the 1970s. I don’t think this caught on, but now it’s an affordably priced vintage horror collectible.

Hey. Just wanted you to know I am no longer with Facebook and probably Instagram. I received notices that my pages were being removed and I attempted to reason with them, but they already had a plan in action. Tuesday morning my page was hacked and I was in touch with Meta for two days in an attempt to correct everything. They wouldn’t except any passwords, photo id’s, or anything else from me. Heck with them. I joined Bluesky. I guess Meta didn’t like some of the more recent posts I had made. Looking forward to less drama. I’ll still be reading the Mego Newsletter and anything else I can find. Take care man. Give my best to everyone.
