Flash Gordon Rocket Ship by NASTA (sponsored link)

The Flash Gordon license sure did have a hey day in the 1970s, ol’ Flash was everywhere for a while. I’ve never seen this ship before, but I dig it’s Art Deco styling. 

 

Sesame Street Jewelry Box (sponsored link) —

My pal Courtney sent me this and I am so in love with it. Mainly because the artist used the Child Guidance Sesame Street Finger puppets as models, and wow, is it adorable!

I should mention that my friend Robyn Adams covered the puppets themselves in issue 10 of Toy-Ventures Magazine.

The best part of this gig is the unlocked memories and I totally had this as a kid. I was hoping it somehow magically made money, but it was an illusion. I was a bit thick at times.

 

 

Bootleg Colorforms Outer Space Men toy (sponsored link)—

Amazingly, a toy line from the late 1960s would be bootlegged in a smaller size and pop up in the early 1990s like this. I own some of these loose and would love to get this. I don’t collect the original OSM (mainly because the Magic Money thing above doesn’t work), but I do appreciate their designs and am a sucker for “Army Men” scale toys.
