1986 Ben Cooper Costume Catalog

1986 Ben Cooper Costume Catalog

It wouldn’t be Halloween without at least one costume catalog on PlaidStallions and I’m thrilled to be showcasing this rarity from 1986.

It’s pretty hard to find an 80s property that isn’t represented here, I mean seriously this thing is chock full of cartoon and toy characters.

Check out the 1986 Ben Cooper Catalog here!

Hah Fun stuff! I was past store bought kid costumes by then, but fun to see what was the popular stuff.

I can't believe in 1986, Ben Cooper was still doing the yellow and red smock for Spider-man. How hard could it have been to change the color?

I finally figured out why those smocks have a picture and the name of the person one was depicting on the costume; so's 50+ year old people wouldn't have to ask "who are you supposed to be".

I'm not saying it worked all the time, but it probably brought the percentage down.

I recently acquired a devil costume with rooted hair by ben cooper circa 1982. I would like to know what to sell it for.
