You can find toys in the weirdest places…..

I’m normally not one to post vacation pics but they illustrate my point as to some weirdness that occurred during my recent vacation.

I took the family north for my son’s first camping trip, how far north? 9 hours from my house north. We actually got frost one night, we were smack dab in the middle of nowhere.

This was about my family, even though i passed dozens of flea markets on the way up, I fought my mego hunting instincts and kept going.

On Saturday, my son wanted to build sand castles, I gladly helped out and we built a pretty cool little city. While digging, I felt something in the sand, I dug it up. As i brushed it off, I figured out it was not only a toy but one i had as a kid!

It was the sea sled from the Fisher Price Adventure people! Not only did I have this as a kid but mine is missing! I couldn’t believe it, I’m miles away from anything and I find a vintage toy part i need buried under two feet of sand! Needless to say I dug that whole beach up but this was the only treasure……
