I love these hand puppets especially that off model version of the count, looks nothing like him. The other interesting thing is that Big Bird doll in the corner, it still seems to be based on the early “Pinhead” version of Big Bird that frightened children.

    Maybe I’m just old and cranky, but I’m fairly certain they don’t make anything nearly as cool today as those puppets. Because if they did, I’d buy them for my son!

    As a kid, I had Cookie Monster, and played with him so much he lost an eye. Still played with him, as “one eye” for years.

    Have chanced upon two of them at garage sales over the years, one with a string to make the arms flap and one without.

    ijust found cookie monster oscar bert and ernie at a flea market about 20mins ago .
    they look like they have been through hell
