Sesame Street Playsets
I’m sure most people recognize the Sesame Street Clubhouse from Fisher Price but I’ve never seen the cardboard playset before. It makes Sesame Street look more like Mayberry than the urban setting it was, what’s with all the grass and trees?
I still my own talking Ernie (he’s not as minty as the one featured here) but I’ve never seen a talking count before, he must be tough as nails to find.
To my eyes the Count is the only one who looks cool.

Are you sure that’s a “talking Ernie”? I remember having one that looked just like that, as a child, but it didn’t talk. I had the Bert figure too. They were from Knickerbocker. However, there seemed to be a limited selection of Sesame Street characters in this particular style (flat face, rag doll body). In fact, on their boxes, they only pictured Ernie, Bert, and Betty Lou, but I never actually saw Betty in the stores.
