Planet of the Apes Mini Play Set

Planet of the Apes Mini Play Set

I get a lot of people asking on the message board who made this set, it’s by Multiple Toys and they made several variations, one including a bunch of army men so you can reenact “Battle for the Planet of the Apes”, it goes a little crazy with the scale but I doubt any kid complained.
This is another one of those toys that I need to track down and find, it’s just so neat.

  • Looks pretty cool, noticed that the figures are hand-painted, would be a good find.

Wow, that’s a rarity. Is there a book amassing all the POTA merchandise? I imagine that’d be a fun read.

Vlad owns the Planet of the Apes playset, complete with little army men! However, Vlad must say that whoever “hand painted” the figures were not what you might call sticklers for detail! And yet this is one of Vlad’s favorite toys! (Along with the Remco Do It Yourself Impaling Kit and Milton Bradly Let’s Torture Daddy Game!)

Okay….Vlad. John says he likes toys too?

A mini playset that weighs 10 lbs? Guess it was the lead paint. But sooooo cool! I would give my GI Joe doll a lobotomy so he could join the fun!
