While a paint by numbers kit alone isn’t that exciting to kids, Hasbro amped up the cool with the licensing. I’d have trouble deciding today what to choose let alone as a five year old. I’d probably go with Star Trek but the idea of painting Aquaman is really tempting….

    What a great idea! Giving hyperactive 6-year-olds oil paints to play with just proves that Hasbro really hated parents everywhere.

    I loved these as a kid. Now I'd just feel like I was cheating 🙂

    These stayed with me even as I "outgrew" toys and started to get into grown-up music. I may have put aside my Batman paint-by-numbers, but I wasn't too old to pick up colored markers and use those numbers to recreate Kiss' Rock and Roll Over album cover- complete with felt!
