The Lone Ranger Rides Again!

The Lone Ranger Rides Again!

I am extremely happy to anounce a new toy gallery at Plaidstallions, dedicated to what is definitely one of the finest and somewhat under rated action figure lines of the 1970s, Gabriel’s Lone Ranger. Thanks entirely to the generosity and support from collectors Bill Frost and Rob Chatlin, we now have on display what might be the most comprehensive archive of the Lone Ranger Toy Line ever compiled.Feel free to browse the galleries for figure variations, playsets and the staggering amount of outfits and adventure sets produced, it’s pretty amazing just how much was created for this line, it has it’s own “mini universe”!

Please check out the Lone Ranger Action Figure Archive and if you have something we don’t, please drop us a line.

I never had these, but a friend did and they were the coolest thing ever. I would go over his house just to play with them.

If I remember right he had the Lone Ranger, Tonto, both their horses, and some adventure sets.

The Lone Ranger figure was definitely one of the coolest of the era, but I seem to remember the strap on his mask always breaking (I had more than one figure over the years). What good is a Lone Ranger without his mask?!

The lone ranger was great fun, I also have a wagon that can hook up to the horses and a stable that holds two horses, but I haven't seen them anywhere else yet. What a blast from the past.

Make him move and bend and turn and twist
Make him point and stretch and move his wrist
    Even wrestle with Butch Cavendish
    He's The Lone Ranger

[…?], have him hold the bridle in his hand
[…?], with his Indian sidekick Tonto, and pretend to make a stand

    Hi-ho Silver away
    It's fun to play
    With The Lone Ranger

“Make him ride on his white horse, Silver,
Have him hold the bridle in his hand.
Take his Indian sidekick Tonto and pretend to make a stand!”
