Knock-Offs Book sneak preview 5 :Toyfoolery

Knock-Offs Book sneak preview 5 :Toyfoolery

Knock-Offs Book

Chapter Five is entitled “Toyfoolery” and is all about counterfeit Toy properties trying to trick us into spending our pocket money.

Expect pages of Sad Skeletors, Bizarre-looking G.I. Joes, bogus ninja turtles and a surprising amount of toys copying unsuccessful toy lines. Chapter 5 is super silly and I hope it brings a smile to your face like it does mine.

You and me both my friend. This is such a fascinating part of the Toy World and as I am giving it my all to be a true toy maker of A.C. Gilbert creed I want more books on toys and in particular Action Figures. Once my new logo is done I am planning to start a YouTube Channel where I make my prototype designs and do toy reviews with a Patreon to help fund said dream.

Sorry didn’t mean to advertise, but yeah studying toys and making them are very interesting to me and I remember making toy robots from my aluminum foil at school, I suppose it is that quote from Atlantis that applies to most classic toys “Our lives are remembered by the gifts we leave our children.” May our gifts be remembered in a way to make it into a book. Yours, Brian’s, my best friends Ceri and Vincent, and last of all mine.

This book is bringing people together, just like Toys it isn’t just there to be what it is but to foster imagination, fun, play, and the love of a parent giving said toy to their child. If it hadn’t been ten years ago most of my toys and books were turned to ash then maybe my mind wouldn’t have been in that darkness of depression, but at the same time I wouldn’t have met those I have who care and have pushed me through those walls.

May all you have and want be there for you Nick, and stay safe. You, your family and all who read this have saftey, care and most of all love for many happy years to come. Follow your dreams and not someone else, be you, be true and give what is important.

Also to anyone who needs a new holiday movie to add to their Classics, check out “The man who saved Christmas” staring Jason Alexander a tale of A.C. Gilbert and his love to make people happy through toys. Great movie even I’d it is somewhat altered for filming from Gilbert’s real life.

Again sorry if I overstepped rules here I am simply excited for all the promise I can tell about.
