Jet Discs for the Tracer Gun

Jet Discs for the Tracer Gun

I kind of got giddy finding this ammo pack for the Star Trek tracer gun.

I didn’t even notice that there is no mention of Trek on the package.

These guns showed up at Canadian retail until the mid 80s, I wish i had kept one….

    Hey! I HAD this.
Kept finding those bullet-discs well into my teens……

I think, in 2015, some drug stores, + toy stores, in the USA at least, sell disc shooting pistols, similar to the star trek guns!

alibaba [dot] com shows similar guns still being sent to vendors.

These guns look like short versions of [toy] Beretta 92 semiauto pistols.

Take a look at these stores, or their websites. You might find guns for your discs.

I don't remember the gun but I still have a few of those discs, in my old car toy box.

That's very nice, and how appropriate that I am listening to "Strange Magic" by ELO right now.

I remember buying the Star Trek packaged gun in about 1972 while on vacation. I don't recall where we were, but we were standing over a lookout into a canyon (not the Grand) and I shot every one of my discs into it. Dumb thing to do, but man it looked cool as they floated into oblivion.

I found a disc in the garage yesterday during my spring clean. Weird, since I think it's been 25 years and seven moves since I've seen the gun.
