I love, love, love, LOVE the Shogun Warriors. In fact, though I have nary a toy from my youth, I do have a couple of those little tiny metal Shoguns. My favorite one, and I cannot find it anywhere, is the one used by Japanese Spider-Man (or “Supaidaaman”), Leopardon. I think in the Shogun line that was rendered, in Engrish fashion, as “Leopoldon.”

Shogun Warriors… what a weird name for giant robots. Somebody at Mattel must have thought “Well, Shogun is a Japanese word, so let’s use that.”

    That was swell, thanks.
