A friend of mine had this wonderful 1990 Fisher-Price McDonald’s playset in his collection, and I, being more of a 70s kid, had never really noticed it before. According to what I’ve read, it was only available in this format for one year as FP retooled the LP to a “Chunkier” design in 1991, thus ending Original Little People.

It’s pretty amazing, not only do you get Ronald and the Hamburglar as little people figures, you get an old school playground complete with a french fry train car and a cool slide where it looks like the cheeseburger is eating the kid!

This is one of those sets well after my time that I know I would have played with for hours and hours.

There was a Playskool version of this set back in the Seventies that I owned. It was a larger size, but didn’t come with a playground attachment.

As an adult, my Mom bought both models of this playset.
(She really likes these types of toys).
As a joke, I’d throw the Ronald McDonald doll into the giant, hamburger-thing, and say: “I’m gonna EAT Ronald!”.
    She’d laugh a lot, when I did that. 😀

Mom is a lot of fun!
[To be sure, I know how un-clean my joke sounds!]
    😀
