I was six when “Sweathog Mania” swept the nation, and I vividly remember all this merch. This stuff sat on the shelves; besides the (above average) comic book, I don’t think I purchased a single thing.

Mary Hartman, Mary Hartmen Iron-On (eBay Link)-
Mary Hartmen has always felt like a show I should like but I honestly could never get though it as a kid. I also watched every “Fernwood Tonight” which was more approachable. I wonder if people wanted Louise Lasser on their chests?

If the copyright date is correct, its odd that “Grease” is emphasized on the Sweathog packaging when that film wouldn’t be released until the following year. Some prophetic marketing exec must have been banking on a long shelf life for this toy (Or its all just a coinkydink).
