I am a man of many predilections and obsessions, and one of them is when Japanese shows get merch in other countries. I don’t know what it is about stuff like this, but it always grabs my attention. I don’t if Ultraman Ace was shown in Mexico, I actually am not sure how much of it I’ve ever watched. I just really think this thing is special.

I got into a discussion about this set with my friend Matt, who claimed it was the Buck Rogers utility belt, and I countered that Remco made one. Then I started thinking about it, and the Remco belt is super lazy, even for them, so yeah, I gotta give it to HG who even gave you a l’il Twiki!

As much as the Sunshine Family famously creep me out, I’ve been watching this thing for a month since my friend Rob sent it to me.

I almost pulled the trigger when the seller sent me an offer.

It’s the “Helter Skelter/Old P0rn0” vibes it gives off, I just sort of love this “Alternate timeline” toy line that you can buy weed from.
