Bootleg Godzilla Bubble Store Display (sponsored link) —
It’s a bit out of my price range, but I do love the style of this Zilla, and the adorable widdle top hat is only helping to enhance his appeal.
AHI Spider-Man Swim vest (sponsored link) —
As a kid, seeing Spider-Man hawking swim stuff instead of I dunno, Aquaman or Submariner, used to get on my nerves. However, I also stopped mixing my Marvel and DC megos at a certain age because of comic continuity. This may be a “me” problem.
Superman the Movie Poster Art set (sponsored link) —
I’ve got Superman on the brain this week, but honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this set before. The packaging really pops, and I would have been all over this in 1978, and look, more than four markers.
Tol Toys “Star Trek” Set from Australia (sponsored link) —
This toy from Australia is quite curious; it has no connection to the TV series at all. It probably flew right under Paramount’s radar at the time. Also, I like the Aliens.
Robby the Robot Knock Off Vending Machine Toy (sponsored link)—
My friend Courtney sent me this, and it’s the kind of stuff I obsess about. These kinds of toys come into our lives and then after a lunchtime, poof! There was no brand name, no company, no nothing. Tracking down stuff like this will bring you close to madness. It’s amazing that these kinds of things survived.
