TV Tray heaven

I have a soft spot for TV trays, mainly because they whisk me back to my grandparent’s apartment and was the only thing they used not covered in plastic.

Seriously, they even had plastic on top of the carpeting.

My parents had a set very similar to the ones in your scan – and they kept them until we moved 5 years ago! I remember a lot of '70s color, like that mustard yellow and avocado green on them; I think there was a rooster in the middle with different patterned circles around the border. Eek! 🙂

I have 2 of my parents' TV trays that we had since I was little. They're black with deer, like the ones in the link below. Many a bowl of cereal and late-night snacks during Creature Feature were had on those.

But the scenic ones are a hoot!
