    Rocket slides were the best! Plus on a hot Texas day you could literally melt your Toughskins on the way down the slide.

    We used to have one of these at a neighborhood park, but years later when I went to show it to my wife, it was gone.

    Cool. The elementary school I went to in Anaheim had a lighthouse tower. Great fun. They tore it down around 1990. Check out my website's tribute to metal playground equipment.

    I used to play in this playground as a kid. The moon farm was also one of my favorite places to go (the old saloon kind of gave me the heeby jeebies though).

    There's still one of these I used to play on in my hometown (Miami, OK), and a modern one in my current town (Edmond, OK).
