In the midst of all the Hulk Helicopters and Explorer vehicles we get this, the Hulk Excersize mat. Seeing as the Hulk is muscular, it makes sense and it’s far cheaper than a gamma bomb.
Those that know me, know of my fondness for plush superheroes, especially stuff like the mego super softies. I’ve always found these late seventies characters from Knickerbocker to be terrific but I’m perplexed by the exclusion of Batman, Batman always gets picked for the team!
Today’s site update is the 1979 Empire Toys Catalog. Empire didn’t make many trendsetting toys, mostly items to fit in with other companies existing lines and using a lot of licenses. Superman, Spider-man and the Incredible Hulk get a lot of face time here.
