Not always, Unknown. The Helix Studios look was popular even back then, especially for guys in their mid-20s with long, soft, curly, very well-brushed blonde hair.
These look like waiters' waist-coats at some insanely trendy restaurant that's got a one in five chance of making it big.
The 70's, such a different time. I wonder if any guys ever wore something like this to an office environment or work of any kind. It's like a porn advertisement in real life.
