I never knew it was possible to carpet an entire room like a "toilet rug". I think I'd spending more time puking in this room than anything else.
I'll bet all carpet salesmen were millionaires back then. I mean… what didn't have wall to wall carpeting in the '70s?
Why would anyone want a carpet made of spinach?
Why is there a toilet in that living room?
this is horrifyingly awesome
That's a bathroom? I hate carpet in bathrooms or kitchens. Especially that kind of carpet. Like you say, it's gross.
Textured carpets are making a comeback apparently. What's next the return of padded vinyl toilet seats?
Wow, we had that same color carpet, but a little different texture when I was very little. Thank God my mom thought it was tacky and replaced it as soon as we had enough money.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have your bathroom carpet brown or yellow?
I remember as a kid in the '70s, my folks got our kitchen carpeted. What the hell were grown-ups thinking back then?
Freakin' awesome. That toilet is the best touch. I entered many a household with textured carpet like that…just never green though. I actually used to love running my hands over its nooks and crannies, or whatever you wanna call it…
The bathtub looks like the living room picture window with those curtains. Who puts carpeting, especially that type of carpeting, in the bathroom?! Hilarious!
My aunt's doublewide has that carpet covering every inch of her house, in brothel red. She even had the toilet seat cover made out of the same carpet.
This carpet is like a Rorschach test or Highlights hidden picture. Can you find the flower, the four-leaf clover, the butterfly… Also how freaking dark is that tub when the curtain is closed?
And yet I want to see more… especially the wall paper!
Oh my hell is that a TUB behind those curtains??? This picture hits you in stages. 1) Holy crap, look at that carpet! 2) Holy crap, is that a toilet?? 3) HOLY CRAP, is that a TUB???
