Mego 12 Inch Superheroes

Mego 12 Inch Superheroes

As I prepare for this week’s Mego Meet Toy Show this weekend, I thought it would be cool to showcase this awesome catalog from the United Kingdom. Pedigree Toys began distributed the Mego Toy Lines in the late 1970s and did a knock out job with the 12″ Superheroes, more pages after the jump!

I got that Hulk for my eight birthday and I still have him.

Drove my mom crazy for that Robin figure for my seventh birthday he wasn’t a boy he was a 20 year Robin, just like Neal Adams drew him! I’m fortunate that she was able to track him down. This is still my favourite toy depiction of the dynamic duo.

If you like Mego and live in the Chicago area, please join me this Saturday at Aw Yeah Mego Meet 2016. It’s a really fun, family friendly event and there are tons of cool toys to look at.

    I like the Mego stuff.

Well, I didn't like one: as a kid, I had an 8 inch superman figure. It probably was one of the early mego 8 inch bodies.

What mego doesn't tell you is:

When you turn superman's shoulder all the way around, that breaks the elastics that hold his body together, + that makes all of his arms + legs break off! Stupid mego. 😀

Does anyone else think: that the wonder woman doll, looks a lot like (Ms.} Cher, in the 1970s? 🙂

Does anyone else think: that the wonder woman doll, is posed with her hand a trifle too close to the Man Of Steel's kryptonite?
