This page from the 1980 Shoprite Canada page is a childhood favourite. I can honestly remember the excitement of seeing those new Empire vehicles and characters mixed in with stuff from Star Wars. I won’t lie, I got a lot of the stuff on this page as a kid. I was especially fond of the 12″ characters because they harkened back to the days of the Six Million Dollar Man and GI Joe. I got the 12″ Boba Fett that year and don’t think the Steve Austin vision didn’t go unnoticed…
