I declare this Apes Week

With the upcoming release of “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” , I making all my posts for the next week both here and at the Mego Museum to be completely ape centric. There is nothing more 70s to me than an Ape marathon, so stay tuned for some of the weirdest POTA merchandise this side of the forbidden zone…

Awesome—the Apes line looks super cool (both original and modern), and I wish I'd seen it when it came out. Alas, I only saw Trek–or at least, that's all I recall. I don't recall any of the DC or Marvel Heroes or … well, anything in 8 inch size. Much to my regret. The Apes line would have been incredibly fun to play crossover with Star Trek. All I've seen at the Museum about makes me drool with delight. Someday!
