I had a radio shaped like a cartoon but I can't remember who the character was. All I remember is that it was red, blue and flesh color, Popeye maybe?Mickey Mouse? Regardless, I was born in 1970 and I remember almost all of the things you post, brings back a lot of memories. I never realized how many toys I used to have. -Matt
I just sat through the Time Life "Romancing the 70's" cd commercial hosted by Tony Orlando for 40 minutes watching my childhood flash before my eyes and had to come online to see if I could find a picture of my old Snoopy Transistor radio which travelled with me EVERYWHERE!!! Riding on the back of my Schwinn banana seat bicycle back in the 70's… I was never without it. Glad I found this on your site. Thanks!!

I had a Raggedy Ann and Andy radio. 🙂
I got a rock.
I remember Garfield being more of an early to mid 80's phenomenon. The strip started in 1978.
I had the Smurfs radio in the same style as that Snoopy radio. 🙂
I had this radio for years. I probably got rid of it, but if it's at my mom's house, it would be a great little thing to give to my daughter.
