Hanging at Kool Stuff

Hanging at Kool Stuff

This past Saturday, I got to spend a day at one of my favourite haunts Kool Stuff Toys in Hamilton. Jeff the owner was gracious enough to let me set up a small photo studio and take photos for my upcoming book “Rack Toys”.

This not only filled some gaps I had but also gave me a time to linger and explore, something I rarely get to do.

While I was there, I snapped a few shots of the place for the blog and thought I’d share some of the more interesting sights there.

The shop is a labyrinth of wonder, you really have to keep your eyes open because you’ll miss something.
This original King Kong poster display was really tempting, I really got caught up in 1977 “Kong Mania”.
I almost “released the Kraken” if you know what I mean,…
Ever wonder what flavour Deforest Kelly is?
It’s hard to stay focused in this shop, I kept forgetting I had a job to do…
Jeff’s collection is also on display, I loves me some apes so I always check it out.

If you’re ever in Southern Ontario, Kool Stuff is one of those must visit destinations. You can check them out on the web here: Kool Stuff

Man, this sucks that I'm here in Jersey because I'd LOVE to come to Kool Stuff! And I'd bring along a buddy of mine because he's big into comic books and superhero stuff.

I had a King Kong poster, but it wasn't anywhere near 7'4"! I would have LOVED that!

Kool Stuff is great. If you can remember it, he has it.
