The 1977 notion that young men would enjoy wearing unsold Maternity tops from the previous year unfortunately fell flat. Personally, I could use some along a few of those pants with the spandex fronts….

    Must have had some leftover Hawaiian muumuu fabric that year and didn’t know what else to do with it.

    I must say that every on of the fashion posts makes me so very happy that I was in grade school in the seventies snd that my parents were ex-hippies who never latched onto the idea of ‘high fashion’

    I’m curious..why was there a DEPOSIT required to get one of these? Was there a a waiting list?
