Eh, What’s Up Doc?
I have never heard of this Bugs Bunny Playset before, a Spiegel exclusive, I’d love to entertain the fantasy that it’s some sort of long lost Mego toy but more likely it’s by Dakin or somebody like that. Anybody have this as a kid?
I have whittled away ten thousand hours watching Looney Toons and continue to do so.
wow, that’s a cool playset. some unused Tarzan item repurposed?
Sweet! I’d love to have that one.. It’s right out of an actual BB cartoon!
I have never seen that before! What an awesome toy. Duck season! Wabbit season!
A step ladder? But everyone knows Bugs used an elevator platform to come out of his hole.
Wow, that thing is great! I would have loved to get one of those!
That is just plain awesome! What year was that in the catalog?
I had this toy. We returned it
because a couple of the figures broke easily. I took care of my toys, so it was not my doing. I was really disapointed, cause I thought it was cool.
Here's one of those "holy crap" moments that PlaidStallions has become famous for. I've been looking for this… even a picture of it… for 30 years to prove to myself that it actually existed. My Grandmother had this catalog and I coveted this playset. Seeing the picture is exactly as I remember it. Thanks for the memory!

I had this as well. I still have the Elmer Fudd figure. As the other poster said, I'm guessing the other figures must have been fragile, and broke, because I too was really good at keeping my toys together, and I have no memory of Bugs, Daffy, or Porky.
Just saw that this went for $632.50 at a Hake's auction back in December 2008. Crazy!
I had this playset a well! I've been looking for proof of it's existance for about 10 years! I only have faint, hazy memories of it, so it must have been broken pretty easily. Glad to know I didn't dream this thing!
I have the set too! I just listed it on ebay today.
I had this since I was a kid and time to sell it
I have this playset….had it since I was young.
I actually listed it on ebay…time to move on and let go
