Mattel’s Starr seemed to be a teenaged version of the Barbie concept, the look and feel of the line seemed to really embody that late 70s/early 80s style. Whenever I see blacklight posters I think of friends who had older brothers that lived in the basement. They all had moustaches, were named “Chris” and looked 38 despite being in highschool.
