Balloon Inflating Dr. Zaius

As we conclude Apes week, let’s go out with a bang and present an item I don’t own but seriously wish i did. Presenting the Doctor Zaius that improved many a birthday party, more about this after the jump!

This piece belongs to my friend Corey, who has supplied this site with a warehouse full of cool things I covet but this one is probably at the top of my “envy list” these days.

The article below states that Zaius was the product of the Creative Rubber co and was a then new concept of putting a character’s head on a helium tank. Other characters included Yankee Doodle Dandy.

This thing is HUGE and wonderful.

There is some incredible hilarity picturing Maurice Evan’s dialogue coming out of this whilst inflating balloons. “The Forbidden Zone was once a paradise, hrrrrrrrrnnnnnn!”
