It’s pretty weird to see Kenner announce something as big as this with such a crummy ad but I’m guessing they had no time to craft a decent ad. Below is the first notice to the trade showing the figures:

Despite being in my 40s, I’ll admit the sight of Poppin Fresh still brings me joy. That might have to do with me having some of the toys as a kid but more the fact that it’s very rare that his delicious product makes an appearance in my home…….
