And on the December 31st, 1979 the Halstonites were found by the police, drinking purple kool-aid as according to their teachings, life wasn't worth living in a decade where 'leisure outfits' like theirs would be considered out of style.
Poor Halsonites. All they had to do is wait a mere four years. This outfit became all the rage in the world of "1984". These look like rejected costum designs for the utility clothes all Party members wore in the second film adaptation of Orwell's novel, starring Richard Burton, John Hurt and Suzanna Hamilton.
