Inspired by Superman the movie and “rug hooking fever” (common in 1979) I did attempt to do a rug of Superman’s shield when I was eight. Unfortunately, I had the patience of an eight-year-old boy.

Trivia- the 1950s, + 1960s, [American-football player], Mr. Rosey Grier, likes the sewing hobby, called needlepoint. I really like Rosey.
(Rosey was famous in the 1970s, too).
I think rug hooking was illegal in my state.
I've had an old latch hooking of Papa Smurf since the early 1980's. I had a lot of patience with it. It took me 2 years to complete it.
