Chapter 6 in my book is called “Bootleg Toy Art” and it features profiles of a few of the people in this wonderful art toy movement.

Scott Cherry is a Southern California-based artist best known for his original toy art. His work has been featured in gallery shows across the country and has sold thousands of handmade action figures and art pieces across the globe.

When he is not hand crafting every single infinitesimal detail of the Barbarian Rage comic book, he is off playing with toys, making toys, or crushing up toys and snorting them.
