5 Awesome Things on eBay this week
Miami Vice Vending Machine Sticker (eBay link)– Tubbs looks like he’s having an existential crisis in this fire fight. He just has that look in his eye of a man pondering his existence; I’ve been there Tubbs…
McDonalds promotional sponges (eBay Link)– Make your own “Wet Grimace” joke here, I’m sleepy.
APC Frankenstein Puzzle (eBay Link)– APC made some gorgeous Universal Monsters items and this is one of the best. As an aside, I miss seeing Glenn Strange Frankenstein on merch. In the same way I miss Kharis.
M*A*S*H Pinball (eBay Link)– I like M*A*S*H merchandise but I draw the line at BJ, more of a “Trapper John” guy. Also, don’t get me started at Winchester.
Planet of the Apes Quick Draw Cartoons (eBay Link)- Oh my, do I want this. Honestly, if you slapped on an Ape on some old Macrame, I’d probably want it.
Do you miss toy magazines?
That’s why we created Toy-Ventures magazine, an old-school print publication dedicated to vintage toys from the 1960s to the 1990s. Each issue is packed with never before seen images and information written by some of the top collectors. We’ve got six issues and climbing; please check our page here or visit our store.
Our newest book “Knock-Offs: Totally, Unauthorized Action Figures,” is now available. It’s 130 pages of bootleg goodness.
