Action Figures in the 1977 True Value Catalog
Kenner's Stretch Monster was a big hit in 1977 along with Mattel's see through Superhero Pulsar, the toy world was apparently all about ooze this year. Hasbro reinvented G.I Joe as an 8" version space age version called "Super Joe", he didn't last too long. The O.J Simpson doll on this page was created by a cool company called Shindana.
Ideal's Evel Knievel was still selling although not in the numbers they used to, Empire Toys was selling their line of generic Helicopters at this point, most likely to go along with Six Million Dollar Man figures.
