Plaid Stallions wouldn’t exist without wishbooks, especially the ones I grew up with. I’m attempting to bring out some of my favourites druing December. I vividly remember getting this one tucked in the Saturday Star as kid. This is from Simpson’s a long since deceased (but missed) retailer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The action figure selection is pretty awesome this year with Mattel’s Big Jim sharing the spotlight with the Mego Planet of the Apes<\/a> and Star Trek<\/a> figures. I had some of this stuff as a kid and the stuff I didn’t have? I wanted it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other side of the spread, we have the amazing GI Joe Adventure team, my first action figure love, being overshadowed by the “It girl” of `75, Kenner’s Col. Steve Austin from the Six Million Dollar Man line. I was a lucky kid who got one that Christmas, and I enjoyed it for years.<\/strong><\/p>\n
