Doris Fish Forever “Vegas In Space” Action Doll Kickstarter Announced<\/p>\n

July 9, San Francisco, CA<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"uly<\/a>Doris Fish Forever<\/strong>\u00a0is pleased to announce the\u00a0July 10 launch of a Kickstarter campaign<\/a>\u00a0to finance officially licensed 8 inch Action Dolls\u00a0inspired by\u00a0<\/strong>the beloved 1991 LGBTQ cult movie classic \u2018Vegas In Space<\/i>\u2019, co-created by Doris Fish (1952-1991), Miss X, and Phillip R Ford.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kickstarter runs for 30 days and will finance the production of a set of four articulated<\/span>,<\/span><\/strong> clothed figures with the goal of delivering to product backers by December of this year.<\/span>\u00a0Stretch goals for additional characters will be offered.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Created by artist and transgender activist\u00a0Robyn Adams<\/strong>, the founder of both\u00a0Mego Museum\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Doris Fish Forever<\/a>, this project brings together her love of 1970s 8-inch action figures and her passion project archiving and celebrating the life and work of Australian drag pioneer Doris Fish and her group the Sluts A Go-Go.<\/p>\n
