Mego Spider-Man and Giant Acroyear at Korvettes<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nI was so excited to stumble upon this ad for Korvettes from 1978 featuring a Mego Superhero<\/a> and Micronaut Mall Appearance<\/a>. Mego famously did promotional tours with the Marvel Superheroes, Planet of the Apes<\/a> characters, Action Jackson and even the cast of Star Trek. However, they also created this amazing costume of the Giant Acroyear to promote the Micronauts toy line.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\"Mego\r\n\r\nThanks to Doug Knoth for these photos, we get a glimpse of what this looked like. BTW, this is a Corvette” In the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa, NY.\u00a0It’s not mentioned in this ad, but one would assume it was likely in the same period.
