So, it was pointed out today that this is the 40th anniversary of the airing of “V,” a groundbreaking science fiction mini-series. First off, I adore “V” it blew my mind as a kid and I followed it right to the bitter end. Secondly,<\/strong> HOW THE HELL IS 7th GRADE 40 YEARS AGO?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought sharing some comics and images from the 1986 ” V” British Annual would be fun on this particular occasion. For those that grew up outside the commonwealth, Annuals are these weird hard back books you get at Christmas, there is a bajillion of them, and they range from fantastic to wretched, kind of like life, I guess.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The “V” annual for 1986 is actually quite well done, meaning the artists had all they needed in terms of source material; you can see they were having a bit of fun.<\/strong><\/p>\n
