I have zero recollection of these Mattel The Archies dolls from the late 1970s, a couple of years after Marx had done a series of Archie action figures<\/a>. It’s curious that Mattel snubbed Bettie Cooper in favour of Sabrina (Maybe the Filmation cartoon show had something to do with that).<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve also been surprised that The Archies toylines don’t do better. The character was everywhere in the 1970s and 80s and yet, he got very little merchandise.<\/strong><\/p>\n
