15 years ago today, while my baby had a nap, I started a blog making fun of leisure suits out of old Sears catalogs, I thought it would amuse me for a couple of years tops, I would have no idea at that moment and I say this without hyperbole, how it would change my life.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This blog has plunged me into taking risks and pushing myself out of my introverted comfort zone every day, I\u2019ve published books, hosted podcasts, made YouTube videos, produced my own line of action figures, and now am publishing a quarterly magazine. None of that would have been possible were it not for that one lazy Saturday afternoon when there was nothing good on TV.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
I kept this going because it\u2019s always been a bright spot in my day and that\u2019s mostly because of the people I encounter, the internet can be a harsh place and I\u2019ve met a few jerks but this site has always shown me the good in people and I\u2019m so grateful for it in my life.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

So thank you, internet, for being so cool and sticking with me, making funnier comments than me, and for sticking around.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
