ABOUT LINCOLN MONSTERS A vintage toy brand is rising from the grave! “Lincoln Monsters” is a new collaboration from White Elephant Toyz, Absolutely Retro and Plaid Stallions, who have joined forces to make dimestore retro monsters. The name is inspired by the legendary knock-off toy company Lincoln International. However, Lincoln Monsters reimagines the company as a 70s third-rate film studio, making exploitation and copying horror trends. Each Lincoln Monster release and creation will center around a fictional movie from Lincoln International Studios, premiering with The Evil of Count Dracula.

The 8″ Evil of Count Dracula figure will be on a type S body, with a look inspired by the past but retaining the LM house style.

Each Evil of Dracula figure will come in a gorgeous solid box with artwork by Chris Franklin depicting the gorey poster for the movie made to cash in on Hammer horror. Like all good horror shows, this is a double bill as Lincoln Monsters will also release “The Power of Frankenstein,” featuring a stunning poster by Chris Franklin. “Our goal is to create well-made figures inspired by cheap knock-offs,” explains White Elephant Toyz Jason Schiermeyer who adds, “At a collector-friendly price point.” Subsequent releases from Lincoln Monsters will include original male and female character designs that cross multiple film genres from Science Fiction, Horror and Exploitation. Original Black Hole Magazine Cover Art (eBay Link) —

As a lover of all things Black Hole, I will say this is striking. The Cygnus is one of the coolest space ships ever built. My only quibble with this is and no offense to Robert Forster but why no Vincent or Bob? Not to mention Ernest Borgnine, he sells magazines, people!

Chuck E Cheese Statue (eBay Link)—

I didn’t enter a Chuck E. Cheese until my twenties when I took a girl on a date there. However, I grew up watching the commercials on Buffalo 29 as a kid, so I do get nostalgic for this kind of thing. 

Shindana Slade (eBay Link) —

I sincerely straight up adore Shindana Toy’s crime-fighting badass! He’s a street-wise, college-educated army vet turned government agent. I treat him like a de-facto member of Big Jim’s P.A.C.k.

I don’t know about you guys but this kind of stuff never made it to my mall. We’d be lucky to get Batman or a Generic Hero T-Shirt (I had Captain Whizzo) but this was “Heroes World” stuff, that was it. Wow, I just love this and the seller has a pile more.

Space:1999 Commander Koenig Bank (eBay Link)—

As a child, I’d have really saved better if I had the stern face of Martin Landau judging me. Commander Koenig would have probably talked me out of that ice cream because I’m saving to order from Heroes World. Where were you when I needed you, Martin Landau?
