Superheroes ROTRADRAW set (eBay Link)

I’ve never heard of the Rota Draw sets before but after seeing one of these on Instagram, I became smitten. I can’t imagine it worked well but there is a certain hypnotic quality to that DC Comics stock artwork.

Souvenir pillow from the World of Sid and Marty Krofft (eBay Link)

I am forever haunted by the fact that I never got to visit the amusement park headed by the Kroffts. I was such a fan of their work and I cannot believe the memorabilia that the park generated during their short tenure.

Grape Ape String Art kit (eBay Link) —

Although I can’t really answer any follow-up questions about it, I was fond of this cartoon when I was six. I think it would brighten any kitchen or Rumpus room.

Dynomutt Picture Frame (eBay Link) —

I’ve actually owned one or two of these novelty frames before; this one makes me laugh because, as a kid, I loved Blue Falcon and wanted Dyno-Mutt to die in a fire. So I’ve got some mixed emotions.

BugMen of Insecta Figure (eBay Link) —

These toys popped up when I was in the 9th grade and while I’ve never owned one, they always felt kindred, like I would gone mental for them as a kid. Maybe it’s the rather Rack Toy nature of them, maybe it’s the horror elements but yeah, I’ve been a fan from afar….

Welcome to the first of what is a new obsession with us, Busted TV Pilots!

For the inaugural episode, we’ve chosen two absolute doozies starting with the “Man from the 25th Century” AKA “Irwin Allen’s Kitchen Junk Drawer.” Followed up with Jason’s choice, the American version of “Spaced” which, totally doesn’t suck.

Then we trail off into topics like Dick Shawn, rare SCTV and voice-over legend Bob Holt.
