Now, I want to preface this all by saying I had a great childhood,  just like my tattoo says, “No Regerts”.  However, every time I gleam past this page in the Sears catalogue, I sense a disturbance in the force.

The sight of the Pedal Powered Batmobile on this “Bat Vehicles” page fills me with thoughts of “what might have been.” I was Batman-obsessed when i was five, and well, I lived on a hill. 

This amazing Batmobile, complete with Bat radio, would have gotten a lot of use in my household and, likely, would have been destroyed from overuse.

The Empire Toys Batman Cycle or as everyone else calls it “The Bat Cycle,” is an excellent runner-up.  

Oddly, I have no desire to own any of the Bat Vehicles as an adult, mainly because I’m too tall to ride.
