I always loved toys that were open ended in the sense that I could pretend to be whatever adventurer I wanted to be with this cool package of gadgets. It didn't turn out to be quite as fun as I thought it would be, but I still got a lotta play out of it. The periscope was cool, as was the flashlight. The loudspeaker thing did not work and seemed more like a vacuum attachment. The cardboard inserts warped over time and fell out. Still, it was fun for about six months, which is pretty good for a child's toy.
