The ones from the 60s were funny looking.

For a goofy, fantasy action figure idea: The characters from the 60s TV Western Laredo. 12 inch figures of Reese, Chad, Joe, Erik, and Captain Parmalee; dressed in the clothes from the second season and containing voice chips with dialogue from the show (I have a Tom Baker Dr. Who figure with a voice chip containing dialog). For one of those Mego generic bad guys, make one the looks like Sid Haig with a bull whip.
